Skala is a Brazilian hair care brand. Platina Cosméticos S.A. of Uberaba, in the state of Minas Gerais, owns its US trademarks, SKALA BRASIL and SKALA EXPERT.
The brand says it has been cruelty-free since the 1990s and that the whole range turned vegan in 2018, when plant ingredients took the place of animal ones. It also says it is active in more than 80 countries.
