How to use a Skala treatment cream
Most Skala jars say 2-in-1 on the front. Here is what the two uses are, in the packs' own order.
As a rinse-out mask
Wash your hair first. Take a scoop of cream and work it through the lengths, strand by strand. The jars say to leave it on for a few minutes, usually three, and then rinse.
This is the use every Skala cream shares, and the place to start with a new jar.
“Use conditioner after washing your hair. Conditioner moisturizes and detangles your hair, and makes it easier to manage.”
As a leave-in
On damp or dry hair, rub in a small amount and comb through. There is no rinse. Jars that are sold as 2-in-1 name this use on the pack.
A little goes far. The cream is thick, and too much of it leaves hair heavy.

Combing while it is in
Curly and coily hair detangles best with product in it. A wide-tooth comb and a handful of cream do the work in the shower.
